What is the EBB class like?
This class is virtual and self-paced with 6 month access to online content. This means you can go back and review content as often as you like. Plus, you’ll receive a companion workbook with activities, affirmations, “cheat sheets” and more for both you and your partner/support person!
The orientation class is interactive to keep you engaged and excited to learn more! Our last class (rehearsal) is where we apply all that we learned as we navigate a mock birth scenario.
During our weekly meetings, we will discuss class content, address questions, review birth and postpartum plans, etc.
Think of it as mentorship- I’m here to guide you through as you learn. Even when class ends, you are welcome to reach out with questions as needed.
Can I Take This Class and Another CBE Class?
Absolutely!
There are many types of childbirth education classes- Spinning Babies, Lamaze, Hypnobirthing, etc.! Learn as much as you’d like!
Will any classes be in person?
If in-person classes gain enough interest, I will gladly teach in-person and hybrid classes.
For now, it seems that virtual classes seem to best fit everyone’s schedule.
Length of classes?
Orientation and Rehearsal classes are about 2-3 hours.
Weekly discussions last between 1-2 hours.
Class Flow?
Classes are broken up into six sessions (for accelerated classes, some will be combined). Before each meeting, students complete the associated videos and activities for the week.

Group Classes: A reunion class will take place a few months after class ends so that you can catch up with your classmates!
Class sizes?
For quality assurance, classes are limited to six couples/pairs. So there will never be more than 12 people in each class.
Private classes are available upon request.
Refund Policy?
No refunds. If students miss a class, they are welcome to make up the class with another group or schedule a private class.

I’ve taken a Savvy Birth class and would now like to attend a full series. Do I have to pay the full fee?
No, you will pay the CBE series fee minus the amount you paid for the Savvy workshop. (Must provide proof if class was not taught by me.)
