My husband and I found Brittany in our search for Evidence Based Birth® child birth classes. I wanted my husband to go through a course to understand everything involved and really how many medical interventions exists these days, but also for him to feel prepared with me in this experience as a first time parents. We both learned a ton in the class with Brittany.

I had a lot of anxiety as I was medically labeled with a plethora of diagnoses during my pregnancy and wanted to feel like I knew what to expect… and my husband to [know] how to best support throughout the process. Getting a doula was never on our radar until we met Brittany. She not only educated us… but she advocated for us, she empowered us… and supported us each step of the way. When people ask me how labor was, I say that "we" labored. Brittany helped coach my husband through and remind him of comfort measures in the moment as I labored which allowed him to be fully present with me during birth.... From her gentle reminders to empower us to speak up for ourselves to physical support… we are so grateful that we had Brittany. 

If you're questioning if you should get a doula, invest in yourself and your baby and do it. It's 100% worth it and gives you that consistent face to meet in the hospital when birthing day happens. Even more so, do it with Brittany! Absolutely grateful!

Having Brittany alongside us during our birth experience was so comforting and integral to our positive experience as first time parents…I also very much wanted someone to help my partner feel included in our birth experience and informed with the labor process, which Brittany did so well. Her in-home visits included discussions stemming from questions and anxieties I had leading up to birth as well as practicing stretches and pressure points that I could use… in promoting labor and a more comfortable natural birth. Brittany even facilitated a connection for me with a past client to discuss their birth based on my experiences and anxieties as my due date was approaching and then passed to help keep me calm and positive about my upcoming labor…. 

Brittany's support and guidance through her in home visits and through the Evidence Based Birth class she instructs (which I chose to also include/join as an additional support to her doula services) allowed me to feel empowered and confident within the birthing space. The birth experience I had was not the one I planned for and it easily could have resulted in me feeling lost, scared and traumatized had it not been for the pre-work with Brittany and her presence within our room during birth. She gave me and my partner the confidence to advocate for ourselves and be part of the decision making of our birth…

I am so happy I chose Brittany to be my doula. Brittany is very knowledgeable and passionate about the work she does. She is very related, down to earth and always shows up as her authentic self which is something I always appreciate. She always did her best to make sure I had all the information I needed to be able to make the most informed decisions for me and my baby's health. To make it better, Brittany is a sweet and funny person and she's very easy to talk to.

Brittany is a phenomenal doula. As first time parents who did not know what to expect with pregnancy or labor, Brittany educated and helped us make informed decisions to aid in the arrival of our baby boy. She was always one phone call away and exceeded our expectations in terms of care. Not only was she patient through our 30+ hour labor, but she helped keep us on track towards our goal of delivering a healthy baby boy. I HIGHLY recommend having Brittany join you on your journey to parenthood.

Baby #1: So many good things I could say but my experience with Brittany was nothing short of amazing!!!! I had to have a cesarean, however, Brittany explained everything which made me relax a bit. She helped me prepare for both a vaginal cesarean birth. I've never felt so empowered. One of the very few people that I trust with my son while I [took some time to myself]. As Moms we need our village!!! Thank you for everything!

Baby#2: Brittany continued to be all she was during my first pregnancy. Brittany helped me navigate Hyperemesis Gravidarum and prepare for my VBAC. My labor went fast and I experienced an unintended, unmedicated natural birth. Throughout my labor Brittany was so encouraging and helpful. She made sure we made it safely to the hospital and remained with me until my family was able to be with me. Brittany brought meals, helped with housework and my children. She has become part of my support system.

January 2022 & March 2024

10 minutes into my interview with Brittany, I knew that she HAD TO be my doula. Her energy is so calming and affirming. She listened, and let me talk as long as I had to. I had a very traumatizing experience with my first birth, and she listened to every word. She reassured me it was okay to cry and mourn my first birth, and that all my feelings were completely valid. She then assured me that I WILL have the birth I have been dreaming of the second time around. From that moment, she did so much to ensure myself and my husband were prepared to give me the birth I deserved. Unfortunately Brittany caught a cold the day before I went into labor a little over a  week early. However, fortunately, I had such an amazing doula! From her sick bed, she handpicked another doula to be there for me during my labor. Even while under the second doula’s care, Brittany was checking on me, and making sure I was okay, all while she wasn't feeling well herself. I cant say enough great things about Brittany and her services. I have already recommended her to a few friends, who have since hired her as well! If by some chance I have a third child, Brittany will be the first person I call! I am so blessed to have been under Brittany’s care.

Brittany was there for me throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I knew the moment I found out I was pregnant that I would want a doula. Brittany was the first Doula I interviewed and there was an instant connection. Even though I didn’t have the birth I wanted, Brittany was there to hold my hand and help me through it. She was and still is my emotional support. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. I highly recommend her!

Brittany was an amazing doula and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!! She was a great support for my first natural birth. Brittany was very informative and also super patient, and friendly. I learned so much about labor and birthing techniques from her, that I didn’t even need to attend a birth class. She is truly an amazing person. My family and I are thankful for all of her support!!

Out of all 3 of my deliveries this was the best, she helped me advocate for what I wanted and it made the doctors listen. During labor she was a life saver and helped eased the process. Not to mention all the information she provided beforehand for me to learn more about L&D.

I don’t know what I would've did without you. Being in labor for two days and then going through it naturally, no epidural/no meds would NOT have been possible if it wasn’t for you being here for me. I wanted to give up many times, but your words of encouragement and preparation as a doula kept me pushing & seeing the bigger picture. It means the world to me that I was able to experience bringing my daughter into the world the way I did & it’s majority thanks to you. I love you so much & if ANYONE needs/wants doula services, please let my sister bless you with her gift because that’s what it truly is. She was a gift from God.

Brittany was my doula for my baby girl born on 2/2/2023. Brittany provided various amounts of resources and knowledge throughout the entire doula process, easing my nerves often and helping tremendously with my birthing plan. She also capsulated my placenta and picked it up quickly after delivery. Although she wasn't present for my birth because of reasons outside of her control, she provided an amazing backup doula that was so helpful and encouraging.  My delivery was very different from my original birthing plan because my baby girl needed more time but I felt supported throughout the entire process. I'm grateful for my entire birthing team and blessed to have had a safe delivery.

“Brittany assisted me with the birth of my daughter in December 2016. She stayed in contact with me throughout my pregnancy and addressed any questions or concerns I had. If I have another baby, I’ll definitely use Brittany as my doula again.”

Britt helped me deliver my second and it was truly a great experience. The minute I called she came running with alll the goodies in tow. I definitely would have given up without her. She advocated for me when I couldn’t and supported whatever decision I decided to make. She has a special place in my heart and is amazing at what she does. If by some sort of divine intervention, I became pregnant again, she would be the first person I call.
